arrow_circle_down Landscape Quilt made in the hoop
Stash buster alert! 🌈
Ever wanted to make a beautiful landscape quilt background but felt overwhelmed by stitching tricky curves? We’ve got you covered! Our new in-the-hoop Landscape Quilt blocks take all the guesswork out – just choose your colours and let your embroidery machine do the rest. 🎨
This versatile set comes in five hoop sizes, perfect for any project – whether you’re making a quilt, a cozy cushion, or a stunning wall hanging. 🏡
While we’ve gone all out with a wide colour palette in our sample, you could create a sea-themed quilt with shades of blue or a lush green landscape backdrop. 🍃
These blocks make the perfect background for our large applique designs – mix and match to make something truly one-of-a-kind!
Get creative and let your imagination run wild with this versatile set! 🧵✨
The quilt top is made entirely with in-the-hoop blocks, ensuring that each block is perfectly uniform in size. Each block also includes stitched guidelines on the stabilizer, making it simple to align and join them accurately.
Once your quilt top is completed, you can finish your quilt by adding a layer of batting and either binding the edges, or finish with a pillowcase backing like our original scallop edge quilt. (These blocks are sized the same as our scallop edge quilt, so you could add a scallop edge if you like)

IDEAS
I’ve added some ideas below, with some of our large applique designs that I hadn’t used in other quilts. Particularly for the witch and Santa ideas, you may need to use your vision to imagine the background using a different colour palette – dark blues and purples
You can use the full 25 blocks, or for example the truck and Santa idea – nine central blocks were used
VIDEO
I’ve included a quick video demonstrating how to stitch the first block. Since all blocks follow the same method, this video gives you everything you need to get started without showing every block individually.
In the video, I also walk through how to join the blocks into rows and assemble them into a quilt top.
I've included full step by step photo instructions for each block (25 blocks), plus detailed cutting instructions for each fabric.
