The quilt is created completely with in the hoop blocks – including borders, then stitched together on your sewing machine

(using our stitched guidelines on the stabiliser) with an ‘envelope back’

This set started out as a one colour ‘background’ baby quilt that I could add some of our large applique animals to.

 It has evolved slightly with the addition of the animals, but you could use the ‘filler’ or blank designs to make a quilt of any size, for any age.

I have had requests for a ‘straight’ border for this quilt, so have added 3 additional designs to this set.

Straight vs shaped border kreative kiwi

The designs are stitched following the same directions as the shaped border except your batting and fabric have straight edges, instead of the shaping

Please note that our 6x10 designs utilize the full embroidery field, which may not fit within the Oval Bernina hoop. If this is the case, you may need to use a larger Bernina hoop or opt for the 5x7 designs instead.
