In case you are new to the world of large applique designs, let me fill you in. A large applique design is one which needs 2 or more hoopings, with the joining completed as you stitch, in the hoop. The beauty of my large applique designs is you can quickly create a 3D Design much larger than your hoop.

Our Large Square Scallop Placemat is made in multiple hooping’s - joined easily in-the-hoop like a Jig-saw.

The Design is completely reversable, and you can choose between multiple Fabrics, on the outside segments, or use one fabric.   The centre Panel is stippled.  You could add an embroidery design of your choice, or Fussy Cut a favourite piece of Fabric.

The pictured Poinsettia centre is included for 5x5 hoop and bigger

The Centre Panel can be used on its own as a smaller Coaster

We use hoop size descriptions in line with usual industry terms.  If you are unsure if your hoop is big enough for a design, please check the size in mm, or click here for a list of common Embroidery Hoop Sizes

Please note that our 6x10 designs utilize the full embroidery field, which may not fit within the Oval Bernina hoop. If this is the case, you may need to use a larger Bernina hoop or opt for the 5x7 designs instead.
