In case you are new to the world of large applique designs, let me fill you in. A large applique design is one which needs 2 or more hoopings, with the joining completed as you stitch, in the hoop. The beauty of my large applique designs is you can quickly create a 3D Design much larger than your hoop.

Our unique Spider Placemat is made in multiple hooping’s - joined easily in-the-hoop like a Jig-saw.  The Coaster is created in One Hooping.

We have included instructions to ‘stuff’ the spider to give a 3D effect

Whereas the Coaster is completely reversable, the multi-hooping Placemat is not - you can stitch the completed design to a piece of felt and cut away the excess if you need the Placemat to be completely reversable.   The Placemat would look great attached to a tote Bag as a Halloween Goodie Bag or stitched to a cushion!

 ADDITION OCT 2021 - I have now added a 4x4 hoop version of the Coaster and Placemat

We use hoop size descriptions in line with usual industry terms.  If you are unsure if your hoop is big enough for a design, please check the size in mm, or click here for a list of common Embroidery Hoop Sizes

Please note that our 6x10 designs utilize the full embroidery field, which may not fit within the Oval Bernina hoop. If this is the case, you may need to use a larger Bernina hoop or opt for the 5x7 designs instead.
