Joanna amazed us when she shared her fix for her favourite shoes, by adding our Free Lace Butterfly - its now time for another fix, so Joanna used our Free Flower 2 coaster

Joanna writes

I stitched 6 of the flowers in the one hooping using water soluble stabiliser adapting the original design by adding backing fabric and some light wadding and then, whilst they were still a little damp from the removal of the stabiliser I shaped them around my shoes (stuffed with a pair of socks inside plastic bags) and pinned them in place.
I then held each set of 3 together with masking tape and applied E6000 adhesive to the backs of them. Placing them back on the shoes I used rubber bands and some acupuncture to hold them in place while the glue set.

The final 2 photos show how they look now they're finished - I'm very pleased with them and hopefully I'll get another 5 years of wear out of them! 😂

We use hoop size descriptions in line with usual industry terms.  If you are unsure if your hoop is big enough for a design, please check the size in mm, or click here for a list of common Embroidery Hoop Sizes

Please note that our 6x10 designs utilize the full embroidery field, which may not fit within the Oval Bernina hoop. If this is the case, you may need to use a larger Bernina hoop or opt for the 5x7 designs instead.
